 A Message From The Director

Times are tough for all, but especially for Kids. Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton needs your help to support our club in providing security and certainty for our young people, our future.

Parents may not be talking to their children about today's stressful realities, but kids feel the stress nonetheless. When parents lose their job or cannot make ends meet, often the ones that bear the brunt of it all are those with no voice and no control: KIDS.

Clubs are also facing uncertain times financially. Boys & Girls Clubs give young people structure, stability and mentoring. Every child needs a safe haven - a place to just be a kid. For millions of kids, their safe haven is the Boys & Girls Club. Young people need the Club today more than ever.

Thanks for supporting The Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton - The Positive Place for Kids!

Changing Lives...Changing America...Celebrating 11 Years of Service to the Bluffton Community

The B&GC of Bluffton is celebrating 11 years of service to the Bluffton South Carolina community in 2009. We have always been about serving young people, especially those who need us most. It is no coincident that our organization deliberately brings advantages and opportunities to our local youth.  It is accomplished through thoughtful planning and the strong community support of our club.

In fact, Boys & Girls Clubs of America has created opportunities for young people 6 to 18 years of age for more than 150 years. The hallmarks of this process are comprehensive programs that promote long-lasting, trusting relationships with caring adults. These proven programs supply a wealth of opportunities for young people to express interest and develop their character in becoming the responsible citizens of tomorrow.

Our core programs are in the areas of the Arts, Technology, Sports/Fitness/Recreation, and developing Character & Leadership, Education & Career and Health & Life Skills. These programs are designed for positive impacts on the “whole child", to advance their intellectual, social, emotional and moral values in educational and fun formats.

Today, our work is positively impacting lives of youth in Bluffton, South Carolina. We are Building a Better Bluffton One Child at a Time. Proud of our past, with faith in our future, we embark on a second decade of service, a decade that begins now.
